Assuming you do not qualify as an exempt organization in the state of FL, items purchased by you for use or as give aways to members or prospects are taxable when you purchase them. If the vendor did not charge you tax, then as the buyer you have an obligation to remit the FL Use tax directly to the state of Florida.
